Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The album, entitled Blood Hive 3, features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Craig Wedren (School of Rock, We Hot American Summer, Role Models, GLOW) and Anna Waronker (Shrill, Call Me Kat, I Love That for You, High School). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 11 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also check out the composers’ original song Sleepwalking below. The label has previously released two albums featuring the composers’ music from Season 1 & Season 2 back in 2022 and 2023. Yellowjackets is created by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson and stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Lauren Ambrose, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Liv Hewson, Hilary Swank, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Joel McHale, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Simone Kessell and Elijah Wood.

Songs from ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2 to Be Released
Universal Music Canada will release a new soundtrack album for the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The album features fifteen songs from the second season of the show, including a new track (Sit Right Down) performed by John Cameron Mitchell (with Elijah Wood and series composers Craig Wedren & Anna Waronker), as well as alternative rock songs by such artists as Nirvana, The Cranberries, Garbage, Veruca Salt, Pulp & others. Also included is the previously released Alanis Morrisette single/opening titles song, No Return (Extended Version), as well as a new alternative version, No Return (Lottie’s Dream Sequence) (listen to the track below).The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on September 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version) and here (digital version). A vinyl edition is also in the works.
