Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The album, entitled Blood Hive 2, features the original score from the show’s second season composed by Craig Wedren (School of Rock, Role Models, We Hot American Summer, GLOW) & Anna Waronker (Shrill, Call Me Kat, High School). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 16 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released a first score album featuring the composers’ music from Season 1 last year. Available separately as a digital single is Alanis Morissette’s cover of the theme song No Return from the fourth episode of Season 2. Yellowjackets is created by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson and stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, Sophie Nélisse, Sophie Thatcher, Warren Kole, Simone Kessell, Courtney Eaton, Lauren Ambrose, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Samantha Hanratty and Jasmin Savoy Brown. The second season premiered earlier this year on Showtime.
