Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 9, is the British thriller Temple developed by Mark O’Rowe based on the Norwegian series Valkyrien and starring Mark Strong, Carice van Houten and Daniel Mays. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Cave, Life in a Day, Gloria Bell). SATV Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Also premiering tomorrow is the docu-series Cosmos: Possible Worlds presented by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and written, directed and executive produced by Ann Druyan & Brannon Braga. Alan Silvestri (Avengers: Endgame, Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, The Polar Express, Captain America: The First Avenger) who previously scored 2014’s Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey has composed the show’s original music. ‘Spenser Confidential’ Soundtrack Details

BMG will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Spenser Confidential. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, Ender’s Game, The Island, Pain & Gain, Deepwater Horizon, Lone Survivor, Desperate Housewives). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 6 and will be available to stream/download here. Spenser Confidential is directed by Peter Berg and stars Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke, Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger and Austin Post. The action comedy follows an ex-cop and ex-con who teams up with an aspiring fighter to uncover a sinister conspiracy tied to the deaths of two Boston police officers.

Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Dispatches from Elsewhere created by Jason Segel and starring Segel himself, André Benjamin, Sally Field, Octavio Coleman, Richard E. Grant and Eve Lindley. The show’s original music is composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Watchmen, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Broken City). Premiering tomorrow, March 2 is the FX original series Breeders created by Simon Blackwell ,Chris Addison & Martin Freeman and starring Freeman himself, Daisy Haggard, George Wakeman, Jayda Eyles, Michael McKean, Joanna Bacon and Alun Armstrong. Oli Julian (Sex Education, Catastrophe, Episodes, Plebs) is composing the show’s original music. Alexander Bornstein to Score Netflix’s ‘Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege’

Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege. The show based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is the first part of a trilogy and begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticon. The 6-parter follows two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as they both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. Among the series’ voice cast are Jake Foushee (as Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (as Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (as Elita-1), Joe Zieja (as Bumblebee), Frank Todaro, Rafael Goldstein, Keith Silverstein, Todd Haberkorn, Edward Bosco, Bill Rogers, Sophia Isabella, Brook Chalmers, Shawn Hawkins, Kaiser Johnson, Miles Luna and Mark Whitten.

Soundtrack Album for ABC/Netflix Series ‘The Letdown’ to Be Released

Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) will release a soundtrack for the TV series The Letdown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first two seasons composed by Sally Seltmann & Darren Seltmann. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 6 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Letdown is created by Sarah Scheller & Alison Bell and stars Bell herself, Duncan Fellows, Noni Hazlehurst, Sacha Horler, Lucy Durack, Leon Ford, Celeste Barber, Taylor Ferguson, Xana Tang, Sarah Peirse and Leah Vandenberg. Composer Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Deepwater Horizon, Ender’s Game) is set to reteam with director Rawson Marshall Thurber on the upcoming Netflix original film Red Notice. The movie is written and directed by Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers, Dodgeball) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopoulos. The action comedy thriller revolves around an Interpol agent tasked with capturing the most wanted art thief in the world. Thurber and Johnson are also producing the project with Beau Flynn (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth), Dany Garcia & Hiram Garcia (Jumanji: The Next Level, Rampage).

Also premiering in the U.S. on Friday is the Spanish historical drama The Endless Trench (La trinchera infinita) directed by Jon Garaño, Aitor Arregi & Jose Mari Goenaga and starring Antonio de la Torre and Belén Cuesta. Pascal Gaigne (The Giant, The Olive Tree, Remember Me) has composed the film’s original music. Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened overseas. Visit Amazon to stream/download the album. The drama, which tells the true story of a Republican from the Spanish Civil War who hides in his home for more than 30 years with the help of his wife, will be making its U.S. debut exclusively on Netflix.
