Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC and Netflix limited series The Serpent. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, Primeval, Ripper Street, The Widow, Requiem). Lorne Balfe Scoring Mikael Hafstrom’s Netflix Film ‘Outside the Wire’
Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, His Dark Materials, The Lego Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life, Home) has composed the original music for the new Netflix original film Outside the Wire. The movie is directed by Mikael Håfström (1408, Derailed) and stars Anthony Mackie, Damson Idris, Enzo Cilenti, Emily Beecham, Michael Kelly and Pilou Asbæk. The sci-fi adventure is set in the future and centers on a drone pilot who is sent into a deadly militarized zone where he finds himself working for an android officer, tasked to locate a doomsday device before the insurgents do.
Michael Andrews Scoring Miguel Arteta’s Netflix Film ‘Yes Day’
Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Freaks & Geeks, Bad Teacher, The Big Sick, Instant Family, Daddy’s Home) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Yes Day. The movie is directed by Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) and stars Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, Everly Carganilla, Julian Lerner,, Fortune Feimster, Arturo Castro, Nat Faxon and Molly Sims. The family comedy follows a a couple who – tired of always saying no – gives their kids one whole day to make the rules and going on, kicking off a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British series All Creatures Great and Small written by Ben Vanstone based on the classic BBC programme, directed by Brian Percival and starring Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, Anna Madeley, Callum Woodhouse and Rachel Shenton The show’s original music is composed by Alexandra Harwood (The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, The Escape, Growing Up Wild). All3Media & Playground Television have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score when the drama premiered in the UK last year. Brooke Blair & Will Blair Scoring Netflix’s ‘Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer’
Will Blair & Brooke Blair (Green Room, Hold the Dark, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Black Christmas, Blue Ruin) have recently scored the new Netflix docu-series Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer. The show is directed by Tiller Russell (The Last Narc, Operation Odessa, The Last Rites of Ransom Pride) and tells the true story of how one of the most notorious serial killers in American history was hunted down and brought to justice. The 4-parter is told through first-person interviews, archival footage and original photography and paints a portrait of how it felt to live in fear at a time when absolutely anyone could be the Night Stalker’s next victim.

Reinhart Records has released the cover version of the David Bowie’s Heroes from the Netflix original film We Can Be Heroes. The song (originally written by Bowie & Brian Eno) is performed by Haley Reinhart, produced by Dave Damiani and is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music stores. Labrinth Scoring Sam Levinson’s ‘Malcolm & Marie’
Labrinth has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Malcolm & Marie. The drama is written and directed by Sam Levinson (Assassination Nation) and stars John David Washington and Zendaya. The movie follows a filmmaker and his girlfriend Marie who return home from a movie premiere and await his film’s critical response, when the evening takes a turn as revelations about their relationship surface, testing the couple’s love. The director, Washington and Zendaya are also producing the project with Ashley Levinson (Pieces of a Woman) and Kevin Turen (Waves, Arbitrage).
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Lupin’ Released
Maisie Music Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the French Netflix original series Lupin. The album features selections of the original music from the first part of the show composed by Mathieu Lamboley (A Minuscule Adventure, Daddy Cool, Return of the Hero, Sisters in Arms). Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Pieces of a Woman. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Aviator, The Silence of the Lambs, Hugo, The Hobbit, The Departed, Seven). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Pieces of a Woman is directed by Kornél Mundruczó and stars Vanessa Kirby, Shia LaBeouf, Ellen Burstyn, Molly Parker, Sarah Snook, Iliza Shlesinger, Benny Safdie and Jimmie Fails. The movie executive produced by Martin Scorsese centers on a Boston couple on the verge of parenthood whose lives change irrevocably during a home birth at the hands of a flustered midwife who faces charges of criminal negligence.
‘Cobra Kai’ Seasons 2 & 3 Deluxe Edition Soundtracks Announced
La-La Land Records has announced two new soundtrack albums for the Netflix original series Cobra Kai featuring the original score from the show’s second and third seasons composed by Leo Birenberg (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Son of Zorn, PEN15) & Zach Robinson (Impractical Jokers: The Movie, Die Hart). The Season 2 album features all tracks from the original 2019 soundtrack, as well as ten previously unreleased bonus tracks (visit Amazon or the label’s official website to order the CD). The Season 3 soundtrack features 19 bonus tracks not included on the digital release, which is set to come out this coming Friday (click here to order the 2-CD set). Both albums are set to be released on January 19. The label has previously released the CD version of the Season 1 soundtrack.
