Atlantic Records has released the original song Wandering from the NBC nature documentary series The Americas. The track co-written (wit Catherine Carlile) and performed by Brandi Carlile feat. The Americas is narrated by Tom Hanks, executive produced by Mike Gunton and reveals the spectacular landscapes of Earth’s most varied landmass the only one to stretch between both poles.

Christopher Tyng Scoring NBC’s ‘Suits LA’
Christopher Tyng (Futurama, The O.C., Covert Affairs, Kazaam, Rescue Me) is returning to score the new NBC drama Suits LA. The show is created by Aaron Korsh and stars Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg. The spinoff of USA’s original Suits series, which ran between 2011 and 2019, follows a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles and – in order to survive – must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.

Dan Romer Scoring NBC’s ‘The Hunting Party’
Dan Romer (Luca, Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, Station Eleven, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Superman & Lois, The Good Doctor) is scoring the new NBC drama The Hunting Party. The show is created by JJ Bailey and stars Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Wechsler, Josh McKenzie, Patrick Sabongui and Sara Garcia. The series revolves around a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.
World Premiere Release of Gil Mellé’s ‘Gold of the Amazon Women’ Score Announced
Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1979 television movie Gold of the Amazon Women directed by Mark L. Lester and starring Bo Svenson, Anita Ekberg, Donald Pleasence, Bob Minor and Richard Romanus. The album features the film’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Gil Mellé (The Andromeda Strain, Borderline, The Sentinel, Night Gallery, The Organization). The CD, which is limited to 500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the release. A digital release is also expected in the coming weeks (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). Gold of the Amazon Women premiered in March of 1979 on NBC and is now available to purchase on DVD.

The show is created by Jenna Bans & Bill Krebs and stars Melissa Fumero, Aja Naomi King, Ben Rappaport, AnnaSophia Robb, Nancy Travis, Alexander Hodge, Matthew Davis and Felix Wolfe. The series follows four members of a suburban garden club who find their lives intertwined by scandal, mischief and a shared secret – a murder no one wants to talk about.

Invada Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score when the sci-fi drama premiered in the UK on Sky in 2022. Reba McEntire’s ‘Happy’s Place’ Theme Song Released
MCA Nashville has released the theme song from the new NBC comedy Happy’s Place. The song is co-written (with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Carole King & the show’s composer Doug Sisemore) and performed by lead actress Reba McEntire and is now available for pre-order on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Happy’s Place is created by Kevin Abbott & Julie Abbott and also stars Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Tokala Black Elk, Pablo Castelblanco and Rex Linn.
