The show is produced and edited by Ryan Fouss and takes viewers on the ultimate retreat – transporting them to a vast array of colorful and calming corners of the world. Jeff Morrow (Ibiza, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado, Hammer, Trolls Holiday) has composed the original score for the new National Geographic documentary Own the Room. The film is directed by Cristina Costantini & Darren Foster and follows five young star students on their journey to win one of the world’s most prestigious competitions for student entrepreneurs, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Rupert Maconick (Eddie the Eagle) & Jeffrey Plunkett are producing the Saville & Shopify Studios production.
‘Rebuilding Paradise’ Soundtrack to Be Released
The full details of the soundtrack album for the documentary Rebuilding Paradise have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception) and Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life, His Dark Materials). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 6 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download here. Rebuilding Paradise is directed by Ron Howard and tells the story of the Paradise community as they begin to rebuild their lives following the most destructive wildfire in California history.
Adam Taylor Scoring Disney+ Series ‘The Right Stuff’
Adam Taylor (The Handmaid’s Tale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Before I Fall, Meadowland) is the composer of National Geographic’s new Disney+ original series The Right Stuff. The show is based on the best-selling 1979 novel of the same title by Tom Wolfe and stars Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman, Colin O’Donoghue, Eloise Mumford, James Lafferty, Nora Zehetner, Eric Laden, Patrick Fischler, Aaron Staton, Michael Trotter, Micah Stock, Shannon Lucio and Josh Cooke. National Geographic, with Fox 21 Studios and Imagine Television Studios, announced today that Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, Malcolm X) is set to score the upcoming National Geographic original series Genius: Aretha. Raphael Saadiq (Insecure, Step) has been tapped to serve as an executive music producer and will be responsible for producing, arranging and recording all of the original song elements within the series featuring live performances. The biographical drama stars Cynthia Erivo in the title role of Aretha Franklin, as well as Courtney B. Vance, Malcolm Barrett, David Cross, Pauletta Washington, Patrice Covington, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Steven Norfleet, Omar J. Dorsey, Marque Richardson, Kimberly Hébert Gregory and Shaian Jordan.
