Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Cabin Fever, Hostel) & Damian Kulash (of the rock band OK Go) have teamed up to compose the score the upcoming comedy drama The Beanie Bubble. The film is directed by Kristin Gore & Kulash himself and stars Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook, Tracey Bonner and Geraldine Viswanathan. The movie is inspired by by Zac Bissonette’s book The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute tells the story of a frustrated toy salesman who – with the help of three women – grew his masterstroke of an idea into the biggest toy craze in history.

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘The Diplomat’ to Be Released
Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series The Diplomat. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nathan Barr (True Blood, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, The Americans, The Great, Carnival Row, Cabin Fever, Hostel) & Dimitri Smith (Confession, The Mystery of Her). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 21 and will be available to stream/download here. The Diplomat is created by Debora Cahn and stars Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, David Gyasi, Rory Kinnear, Ali Ahn, Ato Essandoh, Celia Imrie, Nana Mensah, Miguel Sandoval and Michael McKean. The political drama centers on a career diplomat a career diplomat who lands in a high-profile job she’s unsuited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.

Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Carnival Row. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Hollywood, Hostel, Halston). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 17. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. A first soundtrack album featuring Barr’s score from Season 1 was released back in 2019. The show is created by Joel Fields & Joe Weisberg and stars Steve Carell, Domhnall Gleeson, David Alan Grier, Laura Niemi, Linda Emond and Andrew Leeds. The 10-part psychological thriller revolves around a therapist who’s held prisoner by a patient who reveals himself to be a serial killer.
