Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, The Phantom of the Open, Vita & Virginia, Roar, Munich: The Edge of War) has recently scored the upcoming British Netflix original film I Came By. The movie is directed by Babak Anvari (Under the Shadow, Wounds) and stars George MacKay, Percelle Ascott, Kelly Macdonald, Hugh Bonneville, Varada Sethu, Franc Ashman and Anthony Calf. The thriller centers on a graffiti artist who targets homes of the elite as he uncovers a secret in a hidden basement – triggering events that put his loved ones in danger. Anvari also co-wrote the screenplay with Namsi Khan. Lucan Toh (Monsterland, iBoy) is producing the Two and Two Pictures production. I Came By will premiere on August 31, 2022 on Netflix.
Waller-Bridge’s other recent projects also include the BBC animated Christmas animated special The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, which will premiere this holiday season.
