Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming indie comedy Humor Me. The film is written and directed by Sam Hoffman and stars Elliott Gould, Jemaine Clement, Ingrid Michaelson, Bebe Neuwirth, Erich Bergen and Annie Potts. The movie follows a struggling playwright who moves in with his joke-telling dad in a New Jersey golf community. Hoffman is also producing the Fugitive Films production with Courtney Potts and Jamie Gordon (Wedding Daze, Scar).

Gabriel Mann Scoring Fox’s ‘Rosewood’, ABC’s ‘Dr. Ken’ and CBS’ ‘Angel from Hell’
Gabriel Mann has composed the score for three network pilots that have recently been picked up to series, including the Fox drama Rosewood. The show is created by Todd Harthan (Psych, Skinwalkers) and stars Morris Chestnut, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle and Maggie Elizabeth Jones. The series the most brilliant private pathologist in Miami, who uses his wildly sophisticated autopsy lab, to perform for-hire autopsies to uncover clues that the Miami PD can’t see. Richard Shephard (Dom Hemingway, The Matador) has directed the pilot episode. Harthan is also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Mary Bowen & Wyck Godfrey (The Twilight Saga, The Maze Runner, Revenge).
Gabriel Mann to Score ‘School of Rock’ TV Series
Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming Nickelodeon original series School of Rock. The show is created by Jim & Steve Armogida based on the hit 2003 feature comedy starring Jack Black and centers on the misadventures of a down-on-his-luck rocker who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school as he teaches his eccentric, unconventional and overachieving students to play and love rock ‘n’ roll. The show stars Tony Cavalero in the lead role. The Armogida Beothers (Crash & Bernstein) are also executive producing the Paramount Television production with the film’s director Richard Linklater (Boyhood, Dazed and Confused) and Scott Rudin (No Contry for Old Men, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Social Network).

Gabriel Mann to Score NBC’s ‘Marry Me’
Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming NBC comedy Marry Me. The show is created by David Caspe (Happy Endings, That’s My Boy) and stars Casey Wilson, Ken Marino, Sarah Wright Olsen, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill and Tim Meadows. The comedy follows a young couple who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks. Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) has directed the pilot episode and also serves as an executive producer on the Sony Pictures Television production alongside Caspe, Jamie Tarses (Happy Endings, Men at Work), Moses Port & David Guarascio (Community, Just Shoot Me!). Marry Me is set to premiere on October 14, 2014 and will air every Tuesday night on NBC.
