Premiering on Monday, September 21, is the new NBC drama Blindspot created by Martin Gero, executive produced by Greg Berlanti and starring Jaimie Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton, Audrey Esparza, Rob Brown, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Ukweli Roach and Ashley Johnson. The show’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, The Mentalist, Everwood, Brothers & Sisters). Also premiering on Monday is the new Fox drama Minority Report executive produced by Max Borenstein, Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Mark Mylod & Kevin Falls and starring Stark Sands, Meagan Good, Wilmer Valderrama, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li and Zhane Hall. Sean Callery (24, Homeland, Bones, Jessica Jones) is composing the show’s original music. The first teaser trailer for Walt Disney Pictures’ Muppets Most Wanted confirms that composer Christophe Beck who scored 2011’s reboot of The Muppets will return to provide the music for the sequel. The film is directed by James Bobin who also helmed the original film and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey. The movie follows Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Walter and rest of the Muppets as they travel to Europe and find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine – the World’s Number One Criminal – and his sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two. Bobin has also co-written the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller (Get Him to the Greek, Forgetting Sarah Marshall). David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman (The Proposal, The Fighter) are producing the Mandeville Films production. 
Christophe Beck has been hired to score the family movie The Muppets. The first film featuring Jim Henson’s creatures since 1999’s Muppets from Space is directed by James Bobin and teams up characters including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy with actors Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones. Segel also co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall). Todd and David Lieberman (The Fighter, The Proposal) are producing the project. The film also features numerous cameos by such actors as Emily Blunt, Ricky Gervais, Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Ed Helms, Donald Glover, John Krasinski and Danny Trejo. Previous Muppets movie composers include Hans Zimmer, Ralph Burns, Miles Goodman and Jamshied Sharifian. Walt Disney Records has already announced a soundtrack album for the film to be released on November 22, 2011, but no word yet on if it will contain any of Beck’s score.
