Walt Disney Records and Intrada Records will release a score album for Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted. The album features the film’s original score composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, The Hangover, Red) who previously scored 2011’s The Muppets reboot. The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 15, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is expected to be released by Intrada Records on the same date. A separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film and a suite from Beck’s score has previously been released. Muppets Most Wanted directed by James Bobin and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey, as well as the Muppets characters including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and The Great Gonzo. The sequel opened last month and is now playing in theaters nationwide.

Expected to top the weekend box office is the film adaptation of the young adult novel Divergent directed by Neil Burger and starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Aaron Eckhart, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Ray Stevenson, Jai Courtney, Ashley Judd and Maggie Q. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack for the film featuring the film’s songs, including tracks by by Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Pia Mia feat. Chance The Rapper. M83, Snow Patrol and Skrillex. Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the family movie sequel Muppets Most Wanted. The album features the film’s original songs written by Bret McKenzie performed by the movie’s cast, as well as a number of demos. Also included is a suite from the film’s original score composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, The Hangover) who previously scored 2011’s original movie. The soundtrack will be released on March 18, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Muppets Most Wanted is directed by James Bobin and stars the Muppets characters including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo, as well as Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey. The movie takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper.
Christophe Beck to Score ‘Muppets Most Wanted’
The first teaser trailer for Walt Disney Pictures’ Muppets Most Wanted confirms that composer Christophe Beck who scored 2011’s reboot of The Muppets will return to provide the music for the sequel. The film is directed by James Bobin who also helmed the original film and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey. The movie follows Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Walter and rest of the Muppets as they travel to Europe and find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine – the World’s Number One Criminal – and his sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two. Bobin has also co-written the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller (Get Him to the Greek, Forgetting Sarah Marshall). David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman (The Proposal, The Fighter) are producing the Mandeville Films production.
