Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Netflix limited series The Asunta Case (El caso Asunta). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret In Their Eyes, The English, A Gentleman in Moscow, Misconduct, Watership Down, The Head, Life Itself) & Adrián Foulkes (Cross the Lines, Zorras). The Asunta Case is created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, Jon de la Cuesta & David Orea and stars Candela Peña, Tristán Ulloa, María León, Javier Gutiérrez, Carlos Blanco, Ricardo de Barreiro, Raúl Arévalo and Iris Wu. The 6-part thriller is inspired by true events and follows two parents who report that their 12-year-old daughter is missing, when the investigation soon turns against them.

‘A Gentleman in Moscow’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Showtime/Paramount+ limited series A Gentleman in Moscow. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret In Their Eyes, The English, Watership Down, Misconduct, The Head, Life Itself, Loving Pablo) . The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 10 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A Gentleman in Moscow is developed by Ben Vanstone based on the novel of the same name by Amor Towles and stars Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Alexa Goodall, Johnny Harris, Fehinti Balogun, Leah Harvey, Lyès Salem, Paul Ready, John Heffernan and Björn Hlynur Haraldsson. The 8-part drama takes place in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution and follows Count Alexander Rostov who is banished by a Soviet tribunal to an opulent Hotel Metropol and threatened with death if he ever sets foot outside again.

Premiering on Tuesday, March 26, is the HBO original documentary The Truth vs. Alex Jones directed by Dan Reed and executive produced by Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller. The film’s original music is composed by David Schweitzer (Emma, Our Great National Parks, The Afterparty, Sanditon, Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King, The Reluctant Traveler). The movie, which tells the story of how families whose children were murdered at Sandy Hook took on conspiracy giant Alex Jones in two courtroom trials, holding Jones and InfoWars to account for the myths they started spreading hours after the atrocity, premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will premiere on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
Premiering on Thursday, March 28, is the Swedish Netflix original series Ronja the Robber’s Daughter (Ronja Rövardotter) written by Hans Rosenfeldt based on Astrid Lindgren’s fantasy tale and starring Kerstin Linden, Jack Bergenholtz-Henriksson, Krista Kosonen, Christopher Wagelin, Maria Nohra, Sverrir Gudnason, Pernilla August, Johan Ulveson and Vera Vitali. Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, Madame Web, Anatomy of a Scandal, Battlefield V, After the Wedding, In a Better World) has composed the show’s original music. Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/Argentine drama Close Your Eyes (Cerrar los ojos). The album features the film’s original music composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, The English, The Head, Watership Down, Life Itself, Loving Pablo). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. A CD version will be coming out later this week (visit Amazon to order). Check out the composer’s title track after the jump. Close Your Eyes is directed by Víctor Erice and stars Manolo Solo, Jose Coronado, Ana Torrent, María León and Petra Martínez. The movie revolves around an aging filmmaker who is reluctantly pulled back into a decades-old mystery connected to his final, unfinished work.
‘The English’ Expanded Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
Silva Screen Records will release a second soundtrack album for the Amazon/BBC limited The English. The album features the expanded original score from the show composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, Watership Down, Loving Pablo, Santa Evita, Life Itself, The Head, Misconduct), including 33 previously unreleased tracks. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album featuring twelve score tracks, as well a number of folk songs in November. A CD version of the original album will also be coming out this Friday (visit Amazon to pre-order).

The show is written and directed by Hugo Blick (The Honorable Woman, Black Earth Rising) and stars Emily Blunt, Chaske Spencer, Stephen Rea, Valerie Pachner, Rafe Spall, Tom Hughes, Toby Jones and Ciarán Hinds. The 6-part western drama tells the story of an aristocratic Englishwoman and a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout who come together in 1890 middle America to cross a violent landscape built on dreams and blood.
