Premiering on Wednesday, April 30, is the Argentinian Netflix original series The Eternaut (El Eternauta) created by Bruno Stagnaro and starring Ricardo Darín, Carla Peterson, César Troncoso, Marcelo Subiotto, Ariel Staltari, Andrea Pietra, Claudio Martínez Bel, Orianna Cárdenas and Mora Fisz. The show’s original music is composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, The English, A Gentleman in Moscow, Watership Down, Misconduct, The Head, Life Itself). Francisco Sokolowicz has provided additional music. A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score will be announced soon. Also premiering on Wednesday is the British limited series Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes written by Jeff Pope and starring Conleth Hill, Max Beesley, Emily Mortimer, Daniel Mays, Russell Tovey, Laura Aikman, Alex Jennings and Edison Alcaide. Martin Phipps (Napoleon, The Crown, Woman in Gold, Victoria, War & Peace, The Honourable Woman, The Aftermath, Peaky Blinders) and Dan Jeffries have composed the show’s original music. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror comedy Death of a Unicorn written and directed by Alex Scharfman and starring Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Richard E. Grant, Téa Leoni, Anthony Carrigan, Sunita Mani and Jessica Hynes. The film’s original score is composed by Dan Romer (Luca, Station Eleven, Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, Superman & Lois, Beasts of the Southern Wild) & Giosuè Greco (Didi, Welcome to Wrexham, Notice to Quit, Let the Right One In). A24 Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this week and a digital single featuring St. Vincent’s original song DOA today. Also opening wide is the action thriller A Working Man co-written and directed by David Ayer and starring Jason Statham, David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Cokey Falkow, Merab Ninidze, Emmett J. Scanlan, Arianna Rivas, Maximilian Osinski, Noemi Gonzalez and Eve Mauro. Jared Michael Fry (The Beekeeper, Safehouse) has composed the film’s original music. Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. ‘A Thousand Blows’ Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the soundtrack album for the British Disney+/Hulu original series A Thousand Blows have been revealed. The album features selection of the show’s original music composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, A Gentleman in Moscow, Misconduct, The English, Watership Down, Life Itself, The Head). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 28 by Hollywood Records (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). The composer’s opening titles track has previously been released as a digital single last week. A Thousand Blows is created by Steven Knight and stars Malachi Kirby, Erin Doherty, Stephen Graham, James Nelson-Joyce, Francis Lovehall, Jason Tobin, Hannah Walters, Darci Shaw and Daniel Mays. The 6-part drama tells the story of two friends from Jamaica who find themselves thrust into the criminal underbelly of 1880’s London’s East End, where they meet the leader of an all-female criminal gang and run afoul of a criminal kingpin and notorious boxer.

The theme written by the show’s composer Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, The English, A Gentleman in Moscow, Misconduct, Watership Down, The Head, Life Itself) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The 6-part dramedy directed by Carlos Sedes revolves around a well-to-do New Yorker who has her life turned upside down when her husband fails to repay a debt to the wrong people and is forced to leave the city with her mother and teenage daughter and travel to her mother’s hometown in northern Spain to start life anew and hope their identities remain hidden.
