Premiering on Tuesday, September 30, on ABC is the new comedy Manhattan Love Story created by Jeff Lowell (John Tucker Must Die) and starring Analeigh Tipton, Jake McDorman, Nicolas Wright, Jade Catta-Preta, Chloe Wepper and Kurt Fuller. The show’s original music is composed by Alec Puro (The Fosters, The Art of Getting By, The First Time). Also premiering on Tuesday on ABC is the new comedy Selfie created by Emily Kapnek and starring Karen Gillan, John Cho, Tim Peper, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Allyn Rachel and David Harewood. Jared Faber (Suborgatory, As Told by Ginger) is composing the show’s original music. Selfie follows a self-obsessed twentysomething who is more concerned with “likes” than being liked. John Frizzell Scoring CBS Drama ‘Stalker’
John Frizzell is composing the music for the new CBS drama Stalker. The show is created by Kevin Williamson (Scream, Dawson’s Creek, I Know What You Did Last Summer) and stars Maggie Q, Dylan McDermott, Victor Rasuk and Mariana Klaveno. The psychological thriller follows two detectives who investigate stalking incidents – including voyeurism, cyber harassment and romantic fixation – for the Threat Assessment Unit of the LAPD. Williamson is executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production. Frizzell has previously collaborated with Williamson on his directorial debut Teaching Mrs. Tingle starring Helen Mirren, as well as on the TV shows The Secret Circle and Fox’s The Following, which will return for a third season in early 2015.

Brian Kirk to Score ‘NCIS: New Orleans’
Brian Kirk is composing the music for the new CBS drama NCIS: New Orleans. The show is created by Gary Glasberg (NCIS) and stars Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, CCH Pounder and Rob Kerkovich. The drama follows the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Glasberg is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Mark Harmon, Jeffrey Lieber (Tuck Everlasting, co-creator of Lost) and James Hayman (Ugly Betty, Joan of Arcadia). Kirk has previously scored over 2000 episodes of the original NCIS show and will continue to score the show, which returns for a twelfth season this fall.
Brian Tyler & Tony Morales to Score CBS’ ‘Scorpion’
Brian Tyler and Tony Morales are scoring the new CBS drama Scorpion. The show is created by Nick Santora (Prison Break, Breakout Kings) and stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Robert Patrick, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong and Ari Stidham. The series follows an eccentric genius and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age. Santora is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Alias), Nicholas Wootton (NYPD Blue, Chuck), Heather Kadin (Sleepy Hollow) Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber’s Believe) and Walter O’Brien. Justin Lin has directed the pilot episode and is also executive producing the project. The director has previously collaborated with Tyler on such films as Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Finishing the Game and Annapolis.
Gabriel Mann to Score NBC’s ‘Marry Me’
Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming NBC comedy Marry Me. The show is created by David Caspe (Happy Endings, That’s My Boy) and stars Casey Wilson, Ken Marino, Sarah Wright Olsen, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill and Tim Meadows. The comedy follows a young couple who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks. Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) has directed the pilot episode and also serves as an executive producer on the Sony Pictures Television production alongside Caspe, Jamie Tarses (Happy Endings, Men at Work), Moses Port & David Guarascio (Community, Just Shoot Me!). Marry Me is set to premiere on October 14, 2014 and will air every Tuesday night on NBC.
Jeff Russo & Ben Decter to Score ‘CSI: Cyber’
Jeff Russo and Ben Decter have been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama CSI: Cyber. The show is created by Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn & Ann Donahue (CSI: Miami, CSI: NY) and stars Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Charley Koontz and Peter MacNicol. The series centers around Special Agent Avery Ryan who heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online and play out in the real world. The character was introduced earlier this year on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Transcenders to Score CBS’ ‘Madam Secretary’
The music production team Transcenders has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama Madam Secretary. The show is created by Barbara Hall (Homeland, Joan of Arcadia) and stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Geoffrey Arend, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Katherine Herzer and Evan Roe. The series follows the newly appointed Secretary of State who drives international diplomacy, circumvents protocol and battles office politics as she negotiates global and domestic issues, both at the White House and at home. Hall is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Morgan Freeman & Lori McCreary (Invictus), Tracy Mercer (Through the Wormhole) and David Semel (Person of Interest) who also directed the pilot episode.
