MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the British mini-series The Pale Horse. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, This Beautiful Fantastic, Lost Girls, Calibre). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 18 and will be available to stream/download here. The Pale Horse is developed by Sarah Phelps based on Agatha Christie’s novel of the same title and stars Rufus Sewell, Kaya Scodelario, Sean Pertwee, Bertie Carvel, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Poppy Gilbert, Madeleine Bowyer and Kathy Kiera Clarke.

SATV has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original series Little Birds. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, Lost Girls, The Pale Horse, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Little Birds is created by Sophia Al-Maria based on Anais Nin’s collection of erotic short stories and stars Juno Temple, Yumna Marwan, Raphael Acloque, Hugh Skinner, Nina Sosanya, Jean-Marc Barr, Rossy De Palma David Costabile, Amy Landecker and Matt Lauria. The 6-part drama is set in Tangier in 1955, in one of the last outposts of colonial decadence, and revolves around a troubled American debutante as she faces a culture shock.
‘Sulphur & White’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the British drama Sulphur & White. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Imposter, The Pale Horse, Calibre, Mrs. Wilson, Lost Girls, This Beautiful Fantastic). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, July 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Sulphur & White is directed by Julian Jarrold and stars Mark Stanley, Emily Beecham, Anna Friel, Dougray Scott and Aftab Shivdasani. The movie is inspired by the life of city trader and mountaineer David Tait, a man whose professional success masks a series of traumatic secrets.

Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the war drama The Outpost directed by Rod Lurie and starring Scott Eastwood, Orlando Bloom, Caleb Landry Jones, Kwame Patterson and Cory Hardrict. The film’s original music is composed by Larry Groupé (The Contender, Commander-in-Chief, Resurrecting the Champ, Nothing But the Truth, Straw Dogs). La-La Land Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score later this month. ‘Untouchable’ Soundtrack Released
Lightbox Media has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Untouchable: The Rise and Fall of Harvey Weinstein. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Pale Horse, Mrs. Wilson, The Imposter, Lost Girls, This Beautiful Fantastic) and performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Untouchable is directed by Ursula Macfarlane and chronicles the recent fall of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and his years of alleged abuse by former colleagues and accusers.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Pale Horse, Mrs. Wilson, Lost Girls, This Beautiful Fantastic, The Imposter). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Trial of Ratko Mladić is directed by and chronicles the trial of Ratko Mladić accused of genocide and war crimes. The movie provided insights into Mladić’s motives, and the genocide he commanded his troops to carry out, as well as a look at the victims left behind, who remain haunted by what their families endured.

Opening in most theaters is the faith-based drama I Still Believe directed by Jon & Andrew Erwin and also stars KJ Apa, Britt Robertson, Shania Twain and Gary Sinise. The film’s original score is composed by John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2, Hocus Pocus). Capitol Records has released a soundtrack album featuring five tracks from the composer’s score, as well as the Jeremy Camp songs from the movie performed by Apa, as well as other tracks by Apa. Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 9, is the British thriller Temple developed by Mark O’Rowe based on the Norwegian series Valkyrien and starring Mark Strong, Carice van Houten and Daniel Mays. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Cave, Life in a Day, Gloria Bell). SATV Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Also premiering tomorrow is the docu-series Cosmos: Possible Worlds presented by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and written, directed and executive produced by Ann Druyan & Brannon Braga. Alan Silvestri (Avengers: Endgame, Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, The Polar Express, Captain America: The First Avenger) who previously scored 2014’s Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey has composed the show’s original music. The show is written by author Sophia Al-Maria (The Girl Who Fell to Earth) based on Anais Nin’s collection of erotic short stories and stars Juno Temple, Yumna Marwan, Raphael Acloque, Hugh Skinner, Nina Sosanya, Rossy De Palma David Costabile, Amy Landecker and Matt Lauria. The 6-parter is set in Tangier in 1955, in one of the last outposts of colonial decadence, and follows troubled American debutante as she faces a culture shock. Stacie Passon (Concussion) is directing all episodes.
Anne Nikitin to Score Gabriel Range’s ‘Stardust’ & Netflix’s ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’
Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic) has been tapped to score the upcoming biographical drama Stardust. The film is directed by Gabriel Range (Death of a Paradise, I Am Slave) and stars Johnny Flynn as David Bowie, Jena Malone as Bowie’s wife Angie and Marc Maron as publicist Rob Oberman. The movie follows the music icon as he embarks on his first road trip to America in 1971 and creates his Ziggy Stardust persona. Christopher Bell wrote the screenplay. Paul Van Carter & Nick Taussig (Churchill, My Name Is Lenny, McQueen) are producing the Salon production.
