BMG has released original song Lost Girl from the Netflix original film Lost Girls. The track is performed by singer/songwriter Lucinda Williams who also co-wrote it with Tom Overby. The song is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. As previously reported, Downtown Records has previously released Lola Kirke’s Beautiful Dreamer as featured in the film. Lost Girls is directed by Liz Garbus and stars Amy Ryan, Thomasin McKenzie, Kirke, Oona Laurence, Gabriel Byrne and Miriam Shor.

Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the faith-based drama I Still Believe directed by Jon & Andrew Erwin and also stars KJ Apa, Britt Robertson, Shania Twain and Gary Sinise. The film’s original score is composed by John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2, Hocus Pocus). Capitol Records has released a soundtrack album featuring five tracks from the composer’s score, as well as the Jeremy Camp songs from the movie performed by Apa, as well as other tracks by Apa. Also opening wide is the thriller The Hunt directed by Craig Zobel and starring Betty Gilpin, Ike Barinholtz, Emma Roberts, Hilary Swank, Glenn Howerton, Amy Madigan and Ethan Suplee. Nathan Barr (True Blood, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Hostel, The Americans, Cabin Fever, Carnival Row) has composed the film’s original music. Anne Nikitin to Score Liz Garbus’ Netflix Movie ‘Lost Girls’
Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, The Imposter, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic) has signed on to score the upcoming Netflix original movie Lost Girls. The film marks the narrative feature directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated documentarian Liz Garbus (What Happened Miss Simone?) and stars Amy Ryan, Gabriel Byrne, Thomasin McKenzie, Lola Kirke, Oona Laurence, Reed Birney, Dean Winters, Miriam Shor, Kevin Corrigan and Rosal Colon. The movie is based on Robert Kolker’s book of the same name and follows Mari Gilbert as she relentlessly drives law enforcement agents to search for her missing daughter and in the process sheds light on a wave of unsolved murders of young female sex workers on the South Shore barrier islands of Long Island.
