Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Sky Atlantic and Amazon original series Tin Star. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Adrian Corker (The Village, Waiting for You). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 17 and will be available to download here. Tin Star is created by Rowan Joffe and stars Tim Roth, Genevieve O’Reilly, Abigail Lawrie, Oliver Coopersmith and Christina Hendricks. The drama centers on a former Metropolitan Police detective who is relocating to the Canadian Rockies with his family to escape a violent past.

Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s & ITV’s ‘The Widow’ Released
Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the Amazon & ITV original series The Widow. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, Requiem, Primeval, Ripper Street). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Widow is created by Harry & Jack Williams and stars Kate Beckinsale, Alex Kingston, Charles Dance and Babs Olusanmokun. The series follows woman who has cut herself off from her previous life but is pulled back to the face that world after seeing her supposedly deceased husband on the news.
Cristobal Tapia de Veer to Score Amazon’s ‘The Hunt’
Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, National Treasure) has signed on to score the upcoming Amazon original series The Hunt. The show is created by David Weil and stars Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Tiffany Boone, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Greg Austin, and Dylan Baker. The drama follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City who have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S.

Premiering tomorrow, March 25 is the second season of the History original series Knightfall created by Don Handfield & Richard Rayner and starring Tom Cullen, Mark Hamill, Bobby Schofield, Sabrina Bartlett, Julian Ovenden, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Tom Forbes and Genevieve Gaunt. Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Hanna’ TV Series to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the new Amazon originals series Hanna. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow (Annihilation, Ex Machina, Free Fire), The Insects, Simon Ashdow and Yann McCullough. Also included is Karen O’s original song Anti-Lullaby and her cover of The Smashing Pumpkins’ Bullet With Butterfly Wings. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 29 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hanna is developed by David Farr based Joe Wright’s 2011 feature of the same title and stars Mireille Enos, Joel Kinnaman and Esme Creed-Miles.
Brian Byrne Scoring John Carney’s Amazon Series ‘Modern Love’
Over the last couple of days, Brian Byrne (Albert Nobbs, Boychoir, The Good Doctor, The Secret Scripture) has been recording his score for the upcoming Amazon original series Modern Love. The show is developed by John Carney (Once, Begin Again, Sing Street) based on the New York Times column and weekly podcast and stars Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, Catherine Keener, Andy Garcia, Cristin Milioti, John Slattery, Olivia Cooke, Sofia Boutella, Brandon Victor Dixon, John Gallagher, Jr., Julia Garner, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr and Andrew Scott.

Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary Leaving Neverland directed by Dan Reed about Michael Jackson’s long-running relationships with two boys, aged 7 and 10, and their families. Amazon Studios has released the opening title sequence of the new Amazon original series Good Omens. The show’s composer David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Sherlock) has written the theme accompanying the sequence, which can be checked out in full after the jump. Good Omens is based on the best-selling novel by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman and stars Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Nick Offerman, Adria Arjona, Nina Sosanya, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Ned Dennehy, Mireille Enos and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Nicholas Britell to Reteam with Barry Jenkins on Amazon’s ‘The Underground Railroad’
Nicholas Britell confirmed in recent interviews with Soundworks Collection and Deadline that he will be reteaming with director Barry Jenkins on the upcoming Amazon original limited series The Underground Railroad. The show is based on Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same title and centers on a young slave on a cotton plantation in Georgia. When a recent arrival from Virginia tells her about the Underground Railroad, they decide to take a terrifying risk and escape. Jenkins will be directing all eleven episodes of the series. No casting announcements have been made yet.
