Premiering tonight is the docu-series Serengeti created by Simon Fuller and directed by John Downer who are both also executive producing the project. The show’s original music is composed by Will Gregory (Nowhere Boy, My Summer of Love) and features vocals by Lola Lennox. The series is narrated by Lupita Nyong’o and follow a cast of African wildlife, including lions, zebras, baboons and cheetahs, over the course of a year. Premiering on Wednesday, August 7, is Fox’s revival of BH90210 starring Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling. Brian H. Kim (Hello, My Name Is Doris, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Search Party) is composing the original music for the show, which features the seven former teen idols playing heightened versions of themselves. Premiering on Thursday, August 8, is the Netflix original series Wu Assassins created by John Wirth & Tony Krantz and starring Iko Uwais, Katheryn Winnick and Byron Mann. The show’s original music is composed by Jeehun Hwang (Aliens of the Deep, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone). The series centers on unassuming San Francisco chef who becomes the latest in a long line of assassins chosen to keep the mystical Wu powers out of the wrong hands. The drama’s full first season will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Premiering on Friday, August 9, is the Amazon docu-series Free Meek executive produced by Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Erin Gamble, Michael John Warren, Isaac Solotaroff, Paul Solotaroff, Shawn Carter, Desiree Perez and Patrick Reardon. Jacob Yoffee & Roahn Hylton (Best Shot, Sherwood) have composed the original music for the show, which chronicles the life of Philadelphia based rap artist, Meek Mill, from his rise in music to his incarceration and eventual release from prison. The 5-parter will be available to stream on Friday exclusively on Amazon Prime.
