Ankama Studio has released a soundtrack album for the French animated feature Princess Dragon (Princesse Dragon). The album features the original songs from the film by French singer/songwriter Pomme, as well as the movie’s original score composed by Pierre-Jean Beaudoin . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on iTunes/Apple Music, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Princess Dragon is directed by Anthony Roux & Jean-Jacques Denis and tells the story of little girl who was raised by dragons and embarks on a journey of discovery into the world of humans. Premiering in the U.S. today is the new television adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic adventure novel Around the World in 80 Days developed by Ashley Pharoah & Caleb Ranson and starring David Tennant, Ibrahim Koma and Leonie Benesch. The show’s original score is composed by Christian Lundberg (Snatch, Earth at Night in Color, Eleven Eleven). Hans Zimmer (Inception, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King) has contributed the main title theme. The adventure drama, which follows Phileas Fogg as he sets out on a quest to travel around the world, premiered in the UK last week on BBC One and is making its U.S. debut on PBS as part of the Masterpiece series.
Premiering tomorrow, January 3, is the Fox drama The Cleaning Lady developed by Miranda Kwok based on the Argentine series La Chica Que Limpia and starring Élodie Yung, Adan Canto, Oliver Hudson, Martha Millan, Faith Bryant, Sebastien & Valentino LaSalle and Sean Le. Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, Once Upon a Time, Miracle, The Accountant, Judas and the Black Messiah) is composing the show’s original music.
