Hans Zimmer is composing original music for the upcoming Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet. The composer is co-scoring the show with Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve (Perpetual Planet: Heroes of the Oceans) for Bleeding Fingers Music. He also co-wrote the series’ theme with Andrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The 5-part documentary is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and recreates the last days of the dinosaurs and uses CGI to take viewers back in time, experiencing the wonders of planet Earth 66 million years ago. Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian, The Jungle Book) and Mike Gunton (Dynasties, The Green Planet) are executive producing the project from BBC Studios’ Bristol-based Natural History Unit.
