David Buckley (Nobody, Angel Has Fallen, Papillon, The Forbidden Kingdom, The Stranger, Greenland, Unhinged) has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original series The Lincoln Lawyer. The show is developed by David E. Kelley (The Practice, Big Little Lies, Ally McBeal) & Ted Humphrey (Wisdom of the Crowd) based on based on Michael Connelly’s bestselling novels and stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Christopher Gorham, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson. The drama revolves around hotshot Los Angeles lawyer Mickey Haller sidelined after an accident as he restarts his career when he takes on a murder case. Kelley and Humphrey (who serves as the project’s showrunner) are also executive producing the A+E Studios production with Ross Fineman (Goliath, Big Sky). Buckley has previously scored most episodes of the Humphrey-produced CBS series The Good Wife. The Lincoln Lawyer will premiere this year on Netflix.
Buckley also continues to score Paramount+’s The Good Fight, which will return for a sixth season this year and Evil, which will return for its third season on June 12.
