Icarus Two Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the indie thriller Whelm. The album features the film’s original music composed by Chris Dudley (of the rock band Underoath) and writer/director Skyler Lawson. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Whelm is directed by Lawson and stars Delil Baran, Ronan Colfer, Dylan Grunn, Grant Schumacher, Francesca Anderson, Mark Hoover, Lindy Unger and Jacob Eaton. Justin Hurwitz Wins Golden Globe for ‘Babylon’ Score

Justin Hurwitz has received the Golden Globe in the Original Score category for his score for Damien Chazelle’s Babylon at tonight’s 80th Golden Globe Awards ceremony. He previously won the award three times for his score and the song City of Stars from La La Land and his score from First Man. The other composers nominated in the score category were Carter Burwell (The Banshees of Inisherin), Alexandre Desplat (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), Hildur Guðnadóttir (Women Talking) and John Williams (The Fabelmans).
