Music Box Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the French/Finnish dramatic thriller Heartbeast (Pulse). The album features the film’s original score composed by JB Dunckel (Summer of 85, K.O., The Summer of Sangaile, Capital in the Twenty-First Century) of AIR. Also included are songs performed by lead acturess Elsi Sloan, as well as Chilla, Mercedes Bentso, Rim Laurens & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Heartbeast is written and directed by Aino Suni and also stars Carmen Kassovitz, Camille, Lucille Guillaume and Adel Bencherif. The movie follows a 17-year-old aspiring rapper who is forced to leave her home country of Finland and move to the South of France, where she meets a charismatic ballet dancer who leads a double life full of boys and drugs. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1991 psychological thriller Shattered written and directed by Wolfgang Petersen and starring Tom Berenger, Bob Hoskins, Greta Scacchi, Joanne Whalley and Corbin Bernsen. Germaine Franco Wins Grammy Award for ‘Encanto’ Score

Germaine Franco has won her first Grammy Award for her score for Disney’s animated feature Encanto in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category at today’s 65th Annual Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony in Los Angeles. She previously received an Academy Award nomination for her work on the film. Lin-Manuel Miranda received the Grammy for the movie’s original song We Don’t Talk About Bruno in the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media category.
