The album features the film’s original music composed by Tim Atack (The Invention of Lying, The Mystery of D.B. Cooper, Lockerbie, Don’t Look Down, Wham!, Reuniting the Rubins). Strike: An Uncivil War is directed by Daniel Gordon and tells the story of the Battle of Orgreave, the most violent confrontation between miners and police during the 1984/85 Miners’ Strike in Great Britain, the most divisive and violent industrial dispute that Britain has ever witnessed.

‘Lockerbie’ Soundtrack Album Released
Sky Music has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original documentary series Lockerbie. The album features the show’s original score composed by Tim Atack (The Invention of Lying, The Mystery of D.B. Cooper, Wham!, Don’t Look Down, Reuniting the Rubins). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Check out the composer’s main title theme after the jump. Lockerbie is directed by John Dower and tells the true story of Britain’s deadliest terrorist atrocity and the most fatal terrorist attack on America before 9/11: the bombing of Pan Am flight 103, when 270 people lost their lives on the night of December 21, 1988.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action adventure Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny directed by James Mangold and starring Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones and Mads Mikkelsen. The film’s original music is composed by John Williams (Star Wars, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, Jaws, Jurassic Park). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Wednesday. Also opening nationwide is the animated feature Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken directed by Kirk DeMicco and starring Lana Condor, Annie Murphy, Toni Collette, Sam Richardson, Will Forte, Liza Koshy, Blue Chapman and Colman Domingo. Stephanie Economou (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, About My Father, Jupiter’s Legacy, The Chair) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as two original songs by Mimi Webb and Freya Ridings today. Two new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the film adaptation of the bestselling novel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland. Republic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring songs from and inspired by the film, including the original song Atlas by Coldplay. Click here for the full album details. The movie’s original score is composed by James Newton Howard. The label will also release a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score next Tuesday, November 25. Also opening wide is the comedy drama Delivery Man written and directed by Ken Scott and starring Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders, Britt Robertson and Jack Reynor. The film’s original score is composed by Jon Brion (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia, This is 40). No word yet on soundtrack release. Delivery Man is a remake of Scott’s 2011 film Starbuck and follows a man who is informed that he has fathered 533 children via sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. Only one movie is opening in wide release this weekend:
Already breaking box office records is the film adaptation of the bestseller The Hunger Games directed by Gary Ross and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson. James Newton Howard has written the film’s score and T Bone Burnett is the project’s executive music producer. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released next week by Universal Republic. Check out the full album details here. A separate soundtrack including songs from and inspired by the movie by artists including Taylor Swift, Arcade Fire, Kid Cudi, Miranda Lambert, The Civil Wars, Glen Hasard, The Low Anthem, Punch Brothers and Birdy has been released by the label earlier this week. Opening in limited release is the martial arts action film The Raid: Redemption directed by Gareth Huw Evans about a SWAT team that infiltrates and attempts to take over an apartment complex acting as a safe house for a drug lord. Mike Shinoda and Joseph Trapanese have composed the score for the film. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well as the song Razors.Out featuring vocals by Chino from Deftones.
