Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Indian Netflix original series Kohrra. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Benedict Taylor (Ghost Stories) & Naren Chandavarkar (Trial by Fire, Sherni). Kohrra is created by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia & Sudip Sharma and stars Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Manish Chaudhary, Ekavali Khanna and Varun Badola. Disney has revealed that the studio will submit the original song Wild Uncharted Waters from the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid for awards consideration. The song written by the film’s composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Enchanted) and featuring lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, Moana, Encanto) is performed on screen by Jonah Hauer-King. It is one of three original songs from the movie, the others being For the First Time performed by Halle Bailey and The Scuttlebutt performed by Awkwafina & Daveed Diggs. Milan Records has announced a first soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series The Wheel of Time. The Volume 1 album is the first of an eventual two volumes of original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Black Adam, Top Gun: Maverick, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves). The conceptual album features 11 key theme tracks, each tailored to a different character in the new season. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, September 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
