Platoon has released the main title song from the new Mexican Apple TV+ original series Women in Blue (Las Azules). The Spanish language cover of Lesley Gore’s You Don’t Own Me, entitled No Soy Tuya, is produced (with Dan Zlotnik) and performed by Ximena Sariñana and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. RCA Records has released the album Bando Stone & the New World, which serves as the soundtrack album for the upcoming sci-fi film of the same title. The record includes seventeen new songs by Donald Glover as Childish Gambino, including collaborations with Jorja Smith, Yeat, Amaarae, Flo Milli, Chlöe, Fousheé and Khruangbin. Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, Black Panther, Creed, Community, The Mandalorian) co-wrote and produced several tracks on the album. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first three songs after the jump. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the disaster movie Twisters directed by Lee Isaac Chung and starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, Glen Powell, Nik Dodani, Sasha Lane, Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Kiernan Shipka and Daryl McCormack. The film’s original score is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Shazam!, The Flash, Blade Runner 2049, The Invisible Man, Hidden Figures). Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music on August 2. Atlantic Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie today. Opening semi-wide in around 800 U.S. theaters is the Irish supernatural horror thriller Oddity written and directed by Damian Mc Carthy and starring Gwilym Lee, Carolyn Bracken, Tadhg Murphy, Caroline Menton, Steve Wall, Joe Rooney and Jonathan French. Richard G. Mitchell (A Good Woman, To Kill a King, Moby Dick, Grand Theft Parsons, Born American) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is in the works. Terror Vision Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 1988 horror comedy sequel Return of the Living Dead Part II written and directed by Ken Wiederhorn and starring James Karen, Thom Mathews, Marsha Dietlein, Dana Ashbrook and Phil Bruns. The album features the film’s (newly remastered) original music composed by J. Peter Robinson (Cocktail, The Bank Job, The World’s Fastest Indian, Wayne’s World, Charmed, Wes Craven’s New Nightmare). The full composer line-up of the new Apple TV+ original documentary series Omnivore has been revealed. The show is developed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (No Time to Die, True Detective), created and narrated by René Redzepi and follows the chef and co-owner of world-renowned restaurant Noma as he takes viewers on an immersive journey into the world of food. Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Cobra Kai. The album features selections of the original music from the first part of the show’s sixth and final season composed by Emmy Award winners Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted Metal, Obliterated, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin).
