Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring the world premiere releases of two scores composed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Rescuers Down Under, Homeward Bound, Tombstone, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Young Sherlock Holmes, Lost in Space). The album includes the composer’s score from the 2005 HBO original movie Warm Springs directed by Joseph Sargent and starring Kenneth Branagh, Cynthia Nixon, Tim Blake Nelson, David Paymer, Jane Alexander & Kathy Bates, as well as his music from the 2002 Showtime movie Bobbie’s Girl directed by Jeremy Kagan and starring Bernadette Peters & Rachel Ward. ‘Sarah, Plain and Tall’ & ‘Skylark’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for Hallmark Hall of Fame’s 1991 Emmy Award-nominated television movie Sarah, Plain and Tall directed by Glenn Jordan based Patricia MacLachlan’s book of the same name and starring Glenn Close & Christopher Walken and its 1993 sequel Skylark directed by Joseph Sargent. The album features the films’ original music composed and conducted by David Shire (The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, Zodiac, All the President’s Men, Return to Oz, Short Circuit). Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1977 biographical war drama MacArthur directed by Joseph Sargent and starring Gregory Peck, Ed Flanders, Ivan Bonar, Dan O’Herlihy, Ward Costello and Nicolas Coster. The album features the expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Alien, Papillon, Basic Instinct, Chinatown, Patton), including previously unreleased music and alternate cues.
