Pathé Films has released a soundtrack album for the French psychological fantasy drama The Unknown (L’inconnue). The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Poggio (Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle). The Unknown is co-written and directed by Arthur Harrari and stars Léa Seydoux, Niels Schneider, Valérie Dréville, Radu Jude, Shanti Masud, Jonathan Turnbull, Lilith Grasmug and Victoire Du Bois. The movie tells the story of a withdrawn photographer who wakes up on New Year’s Day to find himself in the body of a woman with whom he had a strange encounter at a racous party the previous night. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, is opening in French theaters today and is expected to be distributed in the U.S. by Neon.
