Two new movies are opening wide this weekend:
The sci-fi adventure prequel Rise of the Planet of the Apes directed by Rupert Hyatt and starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, John Lithgow and Brian Cox is already guaranteed to top the weekend box office. The film’s music is composed by Patrick Doyle. A soundtrack album featuring the Doyle’s score will be released on CD later this month on Varese Sarabande. The other wide release of the week is the comedy The Change-Up directed by David Dobkin and starring Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, Leslie Mann, Alan Arkin and Olivia Wilde.
