Three new studio features are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action thriller The Bourne Legacy directed and co-written by Tony Gilroy and starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach, Albert Finney, Scott Glenn, David Strathairn and Joan Allen. The film’s score is composed by James Newton Howard. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as a new version of Moby’s track Extreme Ways has been released on Back Lot Music and Varese Sarabande. Also opening wide is the political comedy The Campaign directed by Jay Roach and starring Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Sudekis, Brian Cox, Dylan McDermott, Sarah Baker, Katherine LaNasa, Dan Akroyd and John Lithgow. The film’s score is composed by Theodore Shapiro who previously worked with Roach on the comedy Dinner for Schmucks and this year’s HBO drama Game Change. A soundtrack album was set to be released by WaterTower Music as listed in the film’s credits, but no announcement has been made yet.
