Carter Burwell is reuniting with director Bill Condon on the upcoming WikiLeaks drama The Fifth Estate. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Julian Assange and Daniel Brühl as Daniel Domscheit-Berg, as well as Laura Linney, Anthony Mackie, David Thewlis, Peter Capaldi, Dan Stevens, Alicia Vikander and Carice van Houten. The movie chronicles the early days of WikiLeaks, culminating in the release of a series of controversial and history changing information leaks. ‘The Heat’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the buddy cop comedy The Heat. The album features the songs featured in the film by artists including LCD Soundsytem, Santigold, Kimbra, The Isley Brothers, Angel Haze, Parliament, Azealia Banks, Ted Nugent, Boston and Kreayshawn. The soundtrack will be released on June 25, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. The Heat is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) and stars Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy, Demian Bichir, Marlon Wayans and Michael Rapaport. Nick Urata has composed the score for the pilot of the upcoming ABC comedy Back in the Game. The show is created by Mark and Robb Cullen (Cop Out, Las Vegas) and stars Maggie Lawson, James Caan, Lenora Crichlow, Griffin Gluck, Ben Koldyke, Kennedy Waite, J.J. Totah and Cooper Roth. The series follows a single mother who temporarily moves in with her estranged father and reluctantly starts coaching her son’s underdog little league team and is drawn back into the world of sports she vowed to leave behind. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra have directed the pilot episode and are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Mark & Robb Cullen and Aaron Kaplan (Terra Nova). EMI Music Italy has released a soundtrack album for the Italian comedy drama The Great Beauty (La Grande Bellezza). The album features selections from the film’s original score by Lele Marchitelli, as well as other music from the movie, including classical pieces by Kronos Quartet, John Tavener, Zbigniew Preisner, Georges Bizet and Henryk Gorecki. The 2-disc soundtrack is now available overseas. No word yet on a domestic release. The Great Beauty is co-written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino (This Must Be the Place, Il Divo) and stars Toni Servillo, Carlo Verdone, Sabrina Ferilli, Roberto Herlitzka and Isabella Ferrari. Alec Puro is scoring the new ABC Family drama The Fosters. The show is created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige and stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci and Cierra Ramirez. The series follows a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids who are being raised by two moms. Jennifer Lopez serves as an executive producer alongside Bredeweg & Paige, as well as Joanna Johnson (Hope & Faith), Elaine Goldsmith Thomas (Maid in Manhattan, Mona Lisa Smile), Benny Medina and Greg Gugliotta. Def Jam Recordings has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs featured in the film by artists including 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa, T.I., deadmau5 feat. Cypress Hills and and Ludacris feat. ‘Da Vinci’s Demons’ Soundtrack Details

Sparks & Shadows will release a soundtrack album for the Starz original series Da Vinci’s Demons. The album features selections from the original score from the show’s first season composed by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). The soundtrack includes more than 90 minutes of music and will be released digitally on May 28, 2013. A 2-CD collector’s edition will be released later this year. Audio clips will be added to this article within the next couple of days. The label has previously released the composer’s main titles theme from the show. Da Vinci’s Demons created by David S. Goyer and starring Tom Riley, Laura Haddock, Lucrezia Donati, Elliot Cowan, Lorenzo Medici and Lara Pulver currently airs Friday nights on Starz with the season finale scheduled to premiere on June 7.
