Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the biographical comedy drama Blue Moon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Graham Reynolds (A Scanner Darkly, Hit Man, Before Midnight, Bernie, Last Flag Flying, Where’d You Go, Bernadette, Sister Aimee), as well as piano arrangements of songs written by Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Mitchell Parish, Tom Adair & Matt Dennis, among others, produced and performed by Reynolds. The movie follows legendary lyricist Lorenz Hart as he confronts his shattered self-confidence in Sardi’s bar as his former collaborator Richard Rodgers celebrates the opening night of his hit musical Oklahoma! on the evening of March 31, 1943.

Graham Reynolds Scoring Richard Linklater’s ‘Blue Moon’
Composer Graham Reynolds is reteaming with director Richard Linklater (Boyhood, Before Sunrise) on the upcoming biographical drama Blue Moon. The film starring Ethan Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale & Andrew Scott tells the story of lyricist Lorenz Hart bravely facing the future as his professional and private life unravel during the opening night party for his former partner Richard Rodgers’ hit show Oklahoma!. Robert Kaplow (Me and Orson Welles) wrote the screenplay.
Soundtrack Album for Richard Linklater’s ‘Hit Man’ to Be Released
Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the romantic crime comedy Hit Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by Graham Reynolds (A Scanner Darkly, Bernie, Before Midnight, Last Flag Flying, Where’d You Go, Bernadette, Sister Aimee). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 31 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Hit Man is co-written and directed by Richard Linklater and stars Glen Powell, Adria Arjona, Austin Amelio, Retta, Molly Bernard, Sanjay Rao and Evan Holtzman. The movie follows a mild-mannered professor moonlighting as a fake hit man in police stings who ignites a chain reaction of trouble when he falls for a potential client.

Graham Reynolds Scoring Richard Linklater’s ‘Hit Man’
Composer Graham Reynolds is reuniting with director Richard Linklater on the upcoming crime comedy Hit Man. The film starring Glen Powell, Adria Arjona, Austin Amelio & Retta revolves around a philosophy professor by day, lecturing his students on theories of morality, while – in his downtime – also works with the police in surveillance vans as a tech-savvy staff investigator during undercover sting operations. Linklater and Powell also co-wrote the screenplay.

Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for Richard Linklater’s comedy Where’d You Go, Bernadette. The album features the film’s original music composed by Graham Reynolds who previously collaborated with Linklater on A Scanner Darkly, Bernie, Before Midnight and Last Flag Flying. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 9, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
