Audio clips are embedded after the jump. Gimme Shelter is written and directed by Ron Krauss and stars Vanessa Hudgens, Rosario Dawson, Brendan Fraser, James Earl Jones, Ann Dowd and Dascha Polanco. The film tells the true story of Agnes “Apple” Bailey and her path to motherhood as a pregnant, homeless teenager. The movie was released in theaters last month by Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate. son-of-godRepublic Records will release a soundtrack album for the biblical drama Son of God. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe. Also included are four songs by Cee Lo Green, Steven Stern & George Krikes, OneRepublic and Hillsong United. The soundtrack will be released on February 25, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on AmazonAs previously reported, Word Entertainment has released a separate soundtrack featuring music inspired by the film. Son of God produced by Mark Burnett & Roma Downey is based on the History Channel’s mini-series The Bible, which premiered last year. b-o-oPatrick Doyle has been tapped to score DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming feature B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations. The film is directed by Tony Leondis and features a voice cast including Seth Rogen, Melissa McCarthy, Bill Murray, Rashida Jones, Jennifer Coolidge, Octavia Spencer and Matt Bomer. The movie follows two bumbling apparitions who find themselves in an extraordinary after-life adventure when they join the Bureau of Otherworldly Operations (B.O.O.), the ghost world’s elite counter-haunting unit. pharrell-williamsThe Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has announced today that Pharrell Williams will be performing his original song Happy from the animated hit film Despicable Me 2 at this year’s Oscars show, which will air on March 2. Williams is nominated for the first time in the Best Original Song category. The other nominated songs include Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Let It Go from Frozen and The Moon Song from HerDespicable Me 2 is also nominated in the Best Animated Feature category. The soundtrack for the film, which also includes more songs by Pharrell and the score by Heitor Pereira is available on Back Lot Music.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Jozef Van Wissem & SQÜRL. The project is created by Chris Carter and stars Sharon Lawrence, Jamie Kennedy, Aldis Hodge, Andrew Howard, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Adrian Pasdar, Arielle Kebbel and Louise Monot. The drama follows eight strangers who are thrown together by mysterious forces and must help each other survive in a violent world that defies explanation. Carter has also directed the pilot episode and is executive producing the project with Marc Rosen of Georgeville Television.
