jack-reacherHenry Jackman has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. The film is directed by Edward Zwick (GloryThe Last Samurai, Legends of the Fall) and stars Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Aldis Hodge, Madalyn Horcher, Danika Yarosh, Patrick Heusinger, Holt McCallany and Robert Knepper. The movie is based on Lee Child’s book Never Go Back and follows the title character as he returns to the headquarters of his old unit, only to find out he’s now accused of a 16-year-old homicide. Zwick has also written the screenplay with Marshall Herskovitz based on an original script by Richard Wenk (The Equalizer). making-a-murdererLakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Making a Murderer. The album features the show’s themes composed by Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback MountainBabelThe Motorcycle Diaries21 Grams), as well as selections from the series’ original score composed by Kevin Kiner (CSI: Miami, Hell on WheelsJane the Virgin). Soundtrack for Spike TV’s ‘Tut’ Released

tutPickford Studios Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the Spike TV mini-series Tut. The album features the original music from the 6-parter written by Emmy Award-nominated composer Jeff Russo (FargoPowerCSI: CyberThe Returned). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Tut is directed by David Von Ancken and stars Avan Jogia, Ben Kingsley, Alexander Siddig, Peter Gadiot, Nonso Anozi, Iddo Goldberg, Sibylla Deen and Kylie Bunbury. The series tells the story of Tutankhamun, aka King Tut, the youngest Pharaoh to rule Ancient Egypt, whose famous golden sarcophagus has become one of the symbols of the ancient civilization. michael-kammMichael Kamm has recently recorded his score for the upcoming thriller Sleepless Night. The film is directed by Baran bo Odar and stars Jamie Foxx, Michelle Monaghan, T.I., Dermot Mulroney, Scoot McNairy, Gabrielle Union and David Harbour. The movie is based on the 2011 French film of the same title and follows an undercover police officer who scours a nightclub in search of his kidnapped son. Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton, World Trade Center) has written the screenplay. The film is directed by Mike Thurmeier (Ice Age: Continental Drift) and features the voices of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott, Josh Peck, Simon Pegg, Keke Palmer, Wanda Sykes, Jennifer Lopez, Stephanie Beatriz, Adam DeVine, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Max Greenfield, Jessie J, Nick Offerman, Melissa Rauch, Michael Strahan and Neil deGrasse Tyson. The comedy follows a pair of senior citizens who have a relationship that shocks both their families. Joshua Conkel has written the screenplay. The film follows a bombastic television stock huckster whose program and life are taken hostage by an outraged gunman. Alan DiFiore & Jim Kouf (National TreasureRush Hour) and Jamie Linden (We Are MarshallDear John) have written the screenplay. The film’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Man of Steel) and Junkie XL (Deadpool, Mad Max: Fury Road, 300: Rise of an Empire).
