The Orchard will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Hunt for the Wilderpeople. The album features the film’s original music written and produced by Moniker and features the collaborative efforts of Luke Buda, Sam Scott and Conrad Wedde. The soundtrack will be released digitally in the U.S. on June 24, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Hunt for the Wilderpeople is written and directed by Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows, Thor: Ragnarok) and stars Julian Dennison, Sam Neill, Rima Te Wiata, Rachel House and Oscar Kightley. The movie follows a city kid who has to adjust to life in the countryside and finds himself on the run with his uncle, trying to stay one step ahead of a national manhunt. ‘Family Guy’ Score Album Announced

La-La Land Records will release the world premiere score soundtrack album for the Fox animated hit series Family Guy. The album features selections from the original music from the show’s first four seasons composed by Walter Murphy (Ted, Ted 2, American Dad!) and Ron Jones (American Dad!, Duck Tales, Star Trek: The Next Generation). Family Guy: Movement I is limited to 5000 copies and will be available to order on June 21 on the label’s official website. The CD is also available to order on Amazon. Family Guy is created by Seth MacFarlane and features the voices of MacFarlane himself, as well as Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Lacey Chabert, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry and Patrick Warburton. Rusted Wave has released a soundtrack album for David Wain’s 2001 cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, St. Vincent) and Craig Wedren (School of Rock, Role Models). Also included are the songs from the film written by both composers, as well as Mr. Blue & Chubb Rock’s Summer in America, as well as Peter Salett’s end titles song. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes. A vinyl edition is set to be released on July 22, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
