The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Surf’s Up, Capote, The Ice Storm) and Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk). Also included is the original song Holdin’ Out by The Lumineers. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. ‘Snowden’ Score Album Announced

Deutsche Grammophon will release a second soundtrack album for Oliver Stone’s biographical drama Snowden. The album features the film’s orchestral score composed by Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet, World Trade Center, The Incredible Hulk). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the film’s music by Armstrong and Adam Peters. Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans are reteaming with director Charlie McDowell on the upcoming sci-fi drama The Discovery. The film stars Rooney Mara, Robert Redford, Jason Segel, Jesse Plemons, Riley Keough and Ron Canada. The movie is set one year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified and follows the scientist responsible for the discovery and a woman haunted by a tragic past who Will falls in love with his son. McDowell has also written the screenplay with Justin Lader. La-La Land Records has announced the details of the first soundtrack release for the 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off directed by John Hughes and starring Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck and Mia Sara. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ira Newborn (The Naked Gun, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck), as well as the songs from the movie by The Flowerpot Men, Blue Room, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Yello, The Dream Academy and Wayne Newton. Also included as bonus tracks are source cues and alternate score cues.
