Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy The Mick created by John & Dave Chernin (It’s Always Funny in Philadelphia) and starring Kaitlin Olson, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, Carla Jimenez and Susan Park. The show’s original music is composed by Jonathan Sadoff (The Meddler, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Beautiful Creatures). The series revolves around a rash, two-bit hustler from Rhode Island who must assume guardianship of her sister’s three high-maintenance children. Also premiering tonight before moving to its regular time slot this coming Saturday is the new drama Ransom created by Frank Spotnitz & David Vainola and starring Luke Roberts, Sarah Greene, Brandon Jay McLaren and Nazneen Contractor.
