Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix documentary The Social Dilemma. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Crawford. Also included is Brandi Carlile’s & Renée Elise Goldsberry’s cover version of I Put a Spell on You (also available separately as a digital single). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Social Dilemma is directed by Jeff Orlowski and focuses on the consequences of our growing dependence on social media. The movie produced by Larissa Rhodes explores the dangerous human impact of social networking, with tech experts sounding the alarm on their own creation.

Kristen Bell Performing Original Song for ‘Chasing Coral’
Kristen Bell has recorded an original song for the documentary Chasing Coral. The track, entitled Tell Me How Long, is written by the film’s co-composer Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation, Digging for Fire, Gleason) and Teddy Geiger. The film is directed by Jeff Orlowski and follows a team of divers, photographers and scientists who set out on an ocean adventure to discover why Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate.
Dan Romer Scoring Jeff Baena’s ‘The Little Hours’ & ‘Chasing Coral’
Dan Romer is composing the music for the upcoming comedy The Little Hours. The film is written and directed by Jeff Baena (Life After Beth, Joshy) and stars Alison Brie, Dave Franco, Kate Micucci, Aubrey Plaza, John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon. The movie follows a young servant fleeing from his master who takes refuge at a dysfunctional convent in medieval Tuscany. Plaza is also producing the project with
Liz Destro (Life of Crime, Yoga Hosers, About Cherry) for Destro Films. The Little Hours will premiere next month at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
