Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the ITV limited series Victoria. The album features the show’s original music composed by Martin Phipps (Woman in Gold, War and Peace, The Keeping Room, Peaky Blinders) and Ruth Barrett (Harry Brown, City of Tiny Lights, Hunted) with vocals from the Mediaeval Baebes choir. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Victoria is created by novelist Daisy Goodwin and stars Jenna Coleman, Rufus Sewell, Alex Jennings, Paul Rhys, Tom Hughes and Peter Firth. Netflix Premieres ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Theme Song

Netflix has published the main titles sequence for its new original series A Series of Unfortunate Events. The title song is performed by Neil Patrick Harris, written by Nick Urata and features lyrics by Daniel Handler aka Lemony Snicket. Check out the full titles sequence after the jump. James Newton Howard has composed the music for the show’s first episodes and Chris Bacon is credited as the composer on several subsequent episodes. Urata was originally set to score the full season as reported last year. A Series of Unfortunate Events is based on the book series by Snicket and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Aasif Mandvi, K. The details of the 2-CD soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Man in the High Castle have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music from the first season composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, Big Hero 6, X-Men: First Class) and Dominic Lewis (Free Birds, Money Monster) on the first disc and music from the second season by Lewis on the second disc. Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Patriots Day. The album features the film’s original music composed by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). Ariana Grande & John Legend to Perform ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Title Song

Walt Disney Records has announced that Ariana Grande and John Legend are set to perform a new version of the song Beauty and the Beast from Disney’s live-action film adaptation of the same title. The ballad written by Alan Menken and featuring lyrics by Howard Ashman was originally performed by Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson and received an Academy Award and a Grammy Award among other prizes. The new rendition of the classic song is produced Ron Fair and will be included on the official soundtrack album, which also features other new recordings of the original songs from the animated feature,as well as three new songs written by Menken and Tim Rice. The comedy is inspired by Sophia Amoruso’s autobiography of the same title and follows a rebellious, broke anarchist who stumbles upon her passion of selling vintage clothes online and becomes an unlikely businesswoman. The details of the soundtrack album for the sequel Fifty Shades Darker have been revealed. Marcelo Zarvos has signed on to score the upcoming drama Wonder. The film is directed by Steven Chbosky (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) and stars Jacob Tremblay, Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Noah Jupe, Bryce Gheisar, Izabela Vidovic, Danielle Rose Russell, Millie Davis, Elle McKinnon, Daveed Diggs and Mandy Patinkin. The movie is based on the book of the same title by R.J. Palacio and centers on a young boy born with a facial deformity who is destined to fit in at a new school, and to make everyone understand he’s just another ordinary kid. Sony Music will release a new soundtrack album for 1992 romantic comedy Singles written and directed by Cameron Crowe and starring Bridget Fonda, Campbell Scott, Kyra Sedgwick, Sheila Kelley, Jim True, Bill Pullman and Matt Dillon. The album features the songs from the film by Pearl Jam, Chris Cornell, Alice in Chains, Citizen Dick, The Smashing Pumpkins, Mike McCready, Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden & more. Also included are tracks from the movie’s score by Cornell and Paul Westerberg. The 2-CD set features the content of the original soundtrack album on the first disc and 18 new tracks on the second disc.
