Paramount Pictures will release a soundtrack album for the film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. The album features music inspired by the movie by artists including new tracks by DJ Shadow, Gary Numan, Johnny Jewel, Above & Beyond and Tricky. Also included is Steve Aoki’s remix of Kenji Kawai’s Utai IV: Reawakening, which is already available as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 31, 2017 and can now be pre-ordered on Amazon. As previously reported, Lakeshore Records will release a separate soundtrack featuring the movie’s original music by Clint Mansell. Marvel and ABC Studios will release a soundtrack album for Marvel’s Netflix original series Iron Fist. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Trevor Morris (Immortals, Olympus/London Has Fallen, Vikings, The Tudors, The Borgias). Also included is Anderson .Paak’s Come Down. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 17 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Iron Fist is developed by Chris Buck based on the Marvel Comics property and stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey and Rosario Dawson. The series centers on billionaire Danny Rand who resurfaces 15 years after being presumed dead and, with the power of the Iron Fist, seeks to reclaim his past and fulfill his destiny. ‘Better Call Saul’ Score Album to Be Released

Sony Classical will release the first score album for the AMC hit series Better Call Saul. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, The Blacklist, The Disaster Artist, Preacher, Flesh and Bone). David Shire (All the President’s Men, The Conversation, Zodiac, Short Circuit) has recently scored the upcoming indie drama Love After Love. The film is directed by Russell Harbaugh and stars Chris O’Dowd, Andie MacDowell, James Adomian, Juliet Rylance, Dree Hemingway and Gareth Williams. The movie revolves around a mother and her two adult sons as they deal with the death of their family’s patriarch. Harbaugh also co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Mendelsohn.
