Entertaining Power Co. has released a soundtrack album for the Hong Kong action feature Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell, Ip Man, Death Note, Ooku: The Inner Chamber, Resident Evil: Vendetta).The soundtrack, which has previously been released in Asian markets (where it is also available on CD and vinyl) earlier this year, is now available in the U.S. and most other international markets on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In is directed by Soi Cheang and stars Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, Terrance Lau, Tony Wu Tsz Tung, Philip Ng, German Cheung, Richie Jen, Fish Liew, Wong Tak Pun Kenny, Cecilia Choi, Chu Pak Hong, Lau Wai Ming, Aaron Kwok and Sammo Hung.

‘The Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven’s Place’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released
Tribeca Tunes has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 2014 Chinese fantasy adventure The Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven’s Place directed by Soi Cheang and starring Aaron Kwok, Chow Yun-Fat, Peter Ho, Kelly Chen and Joe Chen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Drag Me to Hell, Entrapment, The Hurricane, Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Intrada Records has previously released a CD version of Young’s score back in 2015 and also released the composer’s music from the 2016 sequel.
‘The Monkey King 3’ to Feature Original Music by Yu Kobayashi
Yu Kobayashi has composed the original music for the upcoming Chinese fantasy action adventure sequel The Monkey King 3. The film is directed by Soi Cheang who also helmed the first two parts in the series and stars Aaron Kwok, William Feng, Zanilia Zhao, Xiaoshenyang and Him Law. The movie follows the Monkey King and his companions as they are taken captive by the Queen of an all-female land, who believes them to be part of an ancient prophecy heralding the fall of her kingdom. Cheang is also producing the project.
