ENKA has released a soundtrack album for the French biographical drama Forsaken (L’Abandon). The album features the film’s original music composed by Nicolas Errèra (Hidden Man, Raging Fire, My Mother, God, and Sylvie Vartan, Survive, AdoringShaolinThe Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, The Serpent’s PathMountain Cry). The soundtrack is now available on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Paul McCartney has composed the themes for the upcoming animated feature High in the Clouds. The Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who was previously announced to contribute original songs to the film is also receiving credit for providing the themes to the score (presumably based on his songs) according to producer Nicolas Atlan who shared images from last week’s scoring sessions at Abbey Road Studios in London on social media. Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Star Trek, The Incredibles, The Batman, Ratatouille, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Jurassic Worldhas composed the score for the movie directed by Toby Genkel (The Amazing Maurice, Two by Two: Overboard!) and starring Himesh Patel, Celine Dion, Hannah Waddingham, McCartney himself, Lionel Richie, Ringo Starr, Idris Elba, Clémence Poésy, Jimmy Fallon, Pom Klementieff and Alain Chabat. The animated musical tells the story of a teenage squirrel who embarks on an extraordinary journey to set music free after he accidentally sparked a revolution against the bossy diva-owl who has banned all music from his town. Cinevox Records has announced the first-ever soundtrack release for the 1983 Italian cult comedy Il Ras del Quartiere co-written and directed by Carlo Vanzina and starring Diego Abatantuono, Lino Troisi, Isabella Ferrari, Lara Nakszyński and Mauro Di Francesco. The 4-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Goblin (Suspiria, Deep Red, Zombi, Contamination, The Heroin Busters). The soundtrack was released as vinyl edition last month (and now available from various speciality stores) and is now also available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Body Double, The Howling, Dressed to KillBlow OutSeed of Chucky). Also included are five tracks by Julian Winding. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Wright, Helen Flint, Alan Eyres and Carolyn Payne. The show’s original music is composed by Aisling Brouwer (The BuccaneersWhite RiotLioness: The Nicola Adams Story). Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on July 24.
