Chanda Dancy (Blink Twice, DevotionOne of Them DaysLawmen: Bass Reeves, I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Swiped) has recently been scoring the upcoming comedy Rolling Loud: The Movie. The film is written and directed by Jeremy Garelick (Murder Mystery 2, The Wedding Ringer) and stars Owen Wilson, Matt Rife, Christine Ko, Sexyy Red, Ty Dolla $ign, Ski Mask The Slump God, Henry Winkler, Christian Convery, Jolene and Travis Scott. The movie follows a by-the-book dad who sneaks his 13-year-old son into the world’s largest hip-hop festival, triggering a chaotic adventure with a reckless co-worker and an eccentric volunteer. Garelick is also producing the project with Stella Bulochnikov (Nimrods, Light as a Feather), Robin Rapino (Girl Group), Will Phelps (The Binge, Big Time Adolescence), Doug Banker and Jolene. Rolling Loud: The Movie will be released in theaters nationwide on October 2, 2026 by Ketchup Entertainment.

Dancy’s other recent feature projects include the sports drama Drifter written and directed by Sung Kang and starring Kang himself, Tamara Braun, Michael Nehring, Grant Sullivan, Gregory Cruz, McCaleb Burnett, James Pumphrey, Rutledge Wood, Adam LZ, Shane Johnson, Jully Lee, Jo Sung, Ilia Smolov, Taeon Chung and Nikita Rushmanov. The movie, which follows the solitary custodian at Rosamond, California’s Willow Springs Raceway who discovers purpose and community when he enters the world of competitive drift racing, will premiere next month at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.
