Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, The Martian, Shrek, Man on FireMulan, Gladiator II, The Meg, Kingdom of Heaven, Chicken Run) is attached to score the upcoming period political thriller The Price of Peace. The film is directed by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Anthony McCarten (The Theory of Everything, Darkest Hour) and stars Guy Pearce as Harry S. Truman, Jared Harris as Winston Churchill, Merab Ninidze as Joseph Stalin, Mia Threapleton as Mary Churchill and Danny Huston as General Groves. The movie explores the pivotal 1945 Potsdam Conference where the fate of post-war Germany, Europe and the world was decided. McCarten also wrote the screenplay and is producing the Raccoon Features, Muse of Fire & Salloway Studios production with Jonathan Saubach (Mother Mary), Philipp Klausing (Dark, 1899), Matthew Salloway (Whitney Houston: I Dance with Somebody), Eric Falkenstein, Elizaveta Chalenko and Igor & Philipp Nesterenko. The Price of Peace has just started principal photography in London and is expected to premiere in 2027. (Deadline)
