ENKA has released a soundtrack album for the French biographical drama Forsaken (L’Abandon). The album features the film’s original music composed by Nicolas Errèra (Hidden Man, Raging Fire, My Mother, God, and Sylvie Vartan, Survive, Adoring, Shaolin, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, The Serpent’s Path, Mountain Cry). The soundtrack is now available on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Forsaken is co-written and directed by Vincent Garenq and stars Antoine Reinartz, Emmanuelle Bercot, Nedjim Bouizzoul, Azize Kabouche and Emma Boumali. The movie based on Stéphane Simon’s book The Last Days of Samuel Paty chronicles the final eleven days of a French school teacher whose murder triggered by a class on free speech shook France in 2020. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and also opened in French theaters this past May. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
