Tom Hodge (McMafia, The Ipcress File, Cleaner, Name Me Lawand, Je Suis Karl) has composed the original music for the British psychological thriller The Runner. The film is directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void) and stars Gal Gadot, Damian Lewis, Rory Wilmot and Alfred Enoch. The movie follows a high-powered lawyer at the top of London’s legal world who finds out that her son be been taken during her routine morning run and is forced to sprint through the city and obey a series of sinister commands to bring him back.Mark Gibson (Snow Dogs, The Wild) wrote the screenplay. David Kosse (Vanished) is producing the project. Hodge has previously collaborated with Macdonald on the narrative feature The Mauritanian and the documentaries Klitschko: More Than a Fight & High & Low: John Galliano. The Runner will premiere on September 2, 2026 exclusively on Prime Video.
