Australian DJ and music producer Mr. Bill (aka Bill James Day) has composed the original score for the upcoming horror comedy Mom and Dad. The film is written and directed by Brian Taylor (Crank, Gamer, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) and stars Nicolas Cage, Selma Blair, Anne Winters, Zackary Arthur and Lance Henriksen. The movie follows a teenage girl and her younger brother who must survive a 24-hour mass hysteria of unknown origins, which causes parents to turn violently on their own offspring. Taylor is also producing the project with Chris Lemole & Tim Zajaros (Mudbound, Cabin Fever, Zombeavers). La-La Land Records will release a soundtrack album for the spy action comedy sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The album features the film’s original score composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Kong: Skull Island) & Matthew Margeson (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle) who previously co-scored the first part in the series. ‘Gauguin’ Soundtrack Announced

The details for the soundtrack album for the French biographical drama Gauguin have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Warren Ellis (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Hell or High Water, Wind RiverLawlessThe Proposition). Also included are four tracks by Nick Cave & Ellis from their White Lunar compilation. The soundtrack will be released overseas digitally and physically on September 22, 2017 by Milan Records. The film is written and directed by Andrew Heckler and stars Garrett Hedlund, Andrea Riseborough, Forest Whitaker, Tom Wilkinson, Tess Harper and Usher. The movie tells the story of an orphan raised within the Ku Klux Klan who attempts to break away after the girl he falls in love with urges him to leave for a better life together. Gustavo Santaolalla has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars. The film is directed by Lili Fini Zanuck (Rush, producer of Driving Miss Daisy and Cocoon) and traces the guitar virtuoso’s career through The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos, and his solo years, telling the stories behind hits like For Your Love, Layla, and Tears in Heaven. The movie features extensive archival performances and home movies, which are accompanied by audio interviews with Clapton and people who played central roles in his life, including his grandmother Rose Clapp, George Harrison, Steve Winwood, Ahmet Ertegun and his former wife, Pattie Boyd. Lin-Manuel Miranda has recorded a new version of The Magic School Bus theme song for the upcoming Netflix original series The Magic School Bus Rides Again. Dominic Lewis has signed on to score the upcoming family comedy Peter Rabbit. The film directed by Will Gluck (Easy A, Annie, Friends with Benefits) stars Domhnall Gleeson, Rose Byrne and Sam Neill, and features the voices of James Corden as the title character, Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki. The live-action/animated hybrid is based on Beatrix Potter’s classic stories of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer’s vegetable garden. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Walt Disney Pictures’ 1992 family comedy sequel Honey, I Blew Up the Kid directed by Randal Kleiser and starring Rick Moranis, Marcia Strassman, Robert Oliveri, Amy O’Neill and Keri Russell. The album features the film’s expanded original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (SilveradoYoung Sherlock HolmesRescuers Down UnderLost in Space), including almost 30 minutes of previously unreleased music.
