Drawing Number One has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Shot in the Dark. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Good Doctor, Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, Atypical) and Mike Tuccillo. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Shot in the Dark is directed by Dustin Nakao-Haider and tells the story of Chicago’s Orr Academy Basketball team. Dwyane Wade and Chance The Rapper serve as executive producers on the project. Eli Brueggemann has won his first Emmy Award for the original song Come Back Barack from the Chance The Rapper-hosted episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live in the Music & Lyrics category at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. He was previously nominated three more times for other songs from the NBC show over the last six years. In the Outstanding Music Direction category, Gregg Field was honored for his work on the PBS special Tony Bennett: The Library Of Congress Gershwin Prize For Popular Song. The full details of the soundtrack album for the animated feature Smallfoot have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie written by Wayne Kirkpatrick & director Karey Kirkpatrick and performed by the project’s voice cast including Channing Tatum, Zendaya, James Corden, Common, as well as CYN. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on September 28. won his first Emmy Award for his main titles theme music from the Netflix limited series Godless at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony at the Microsoft Theatre LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. Ramin Djawadi was honored with his first Primetime Emmy Award for his score for the episode The Dragon and the Wolf from HBO’s Game of Thrones in the Music Composition for a Series category.
