Composer Enis Rotthoff is reteaming with director David Wnendt on the upcoming drama The Sunlit Night. The film marks the director’s English-language debut and stars Jenny Slate, Zach Galifianakis, Alex Sharp, Gillian Anderson, Fridjov Sáheim and David Paymer. The movie follows an American painter and a Russian émigré who find each other in the Arctic circle and discover a future and family that they didn’t know they had. Premiering today is the animated mini-series Watership Down directed by Noam Murro and featuring the voices of James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Ben Kingsley, John Boyega, Gemma Arterton, Tom Wilkinson, Olivia Colman and Anne-Marie Duff. The show’s original score is composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their EyesKidnapLife Itself). Michael Yezerski is scoring the upcoming comedy Corporate Animals. The film is directed by Patrick Brice (The Overnight, Creep) and stars Demi Moore, Ed Helms, Jessica Williams and Karan Soni. The movie revolves around an egotistical CEO as she orders her staff to attend a corporate team-building caving weekend in New Mexico, and disaster strikes suddenly, trapping them all underground. Sam Bain (Peep Show, Ill Behaviour) wrote the screenplay. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the National Geographic original series Valley of the Boom. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winners Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein (Stranger ThingsNative Son). The soundtrack will be released on January 11, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (digital version) and here (CD version). Valley of the Boom is created by Matthew Carnahan and stars Bradley Whitford, Steve Zahn, Lamorne Morris, John Karna, Dakota Shapiro and Oliver Cooper. Composer Julian Wass (Hit and Run, The Miseducation of Cameron Post) is reuniting with director Alex Lehmann on the upcoming Netflix original movie Paddleton. The film starring Mark Duplass, Ray Romano, Ravi Patel and Christine Woods centers on the bromance between two misfit neighbors, which becomes an unexpectedly emotional journey when one of them is diagnosed with terminal cancer. ‘Cold War’ Soundtrack Single Released

Milan Records has announced a soundtrack release for Pawel Pawlikowski’s Polish drama Cold War. The 3-track single features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Joanna Kulig and arranged by jazz pianist Marcin Masecki. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Cold War is co-written written and directed by Pawel Pawlikowski and stars Kulig, alongside Tomasz Kot. The movie is set against the background of the Cold War in 1950s Poland, Berlin, Yugoslavia and Paris and tells the story of a couple separated by politics, character flaws and unfortunate twists of fate. Bavaria Sonor Mediathek has released a soundtrack album for the Sky sequel series Das Boot. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Matthias Weber (The Dark Valley, My Best Enemy) who incorporated Klaus Doldinger’s classic theme from Wolfgang Petersen’s original 1981 Das Boot movie into his score. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Capitol Records has released the original song Fire on Fire from the BBC/Netflix animated mini-series Watership Down. The track is performed by Sam Smith who also co-wrote the track with Steve Mac.
