Four new movies are opening theaters nationwide this week:

Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi action sequel Terminator: Dark Fate directed by Tim Miller and starring Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta. The film’s original music is composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Deadpool, Alita: Battle Angel). Also opening wide is the biographical drama Harriet directed by Kasi Lemmons and starring Cynthia Erivo, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Odom Jr. and Joe Alwyn. Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, Inside Man, The 25th Hour, Red Tails) has composed the film’s original music. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score (click here for more information). ‘Motherless Brooklyn’ Score Album Details

WaterTower Music will release a score album for Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring Thom Yorke’s original song Daily Battles, tracks by Wynton Marsalis & more. Motherless Brooklyn is written and directed by Norton who also stars in the movie alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bruce Willis, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Michael Kenneth Williams, Leslie Mann, Ethan Suplee, Dallas Roberts, Josh Pais, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe.

‘Motherless Brooklyn’ Soundtrack Album Announced

WaterTower Music has announced a soundtrack album for the crime drama Motherless Brooklyn. The album features the original song Daily Battles written by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and performed by himself and his Atoms For Peace bandmate Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), as well as a second version of the song arranged and performed by Wynton Marsalis. Both version are now available to stream and download. Also included on the album are tracks performed by Marsalis, Joe Farnsworth, Russell Hall, Isaiah J. Thompson & Jerry Weldon, as well as the Motherless Brooklyn Theme performed by Marsalis, Willie Jones III, Philip Norris, Isaiah J. Thompson, Ted Nash & the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs).

Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) has recently scored the upcoming crime drama Motherless Brooklyn. Radiohead member Thom Yorke has contributed an original song for the drama written and directed by Edward Norton who also stars in the movie, alongside Bruce Willis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Michael Kenneth Williams, Leslie Mann, Ethan Suplee, Dallas Roberts, Josh Pais, Robert Ray Wisdom, Fisher Stevens, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe. The movie follows a lonely private detective living with with Tourette Syndrome as he ventures to solve the murder of his mentor and only friend.
